Mark your calendars for the 2nd Annual Sports Card Show taking place at the Martin Public Library Event Center in Martin, Tennessee on Saturday, January 18, 2025. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., collectors and sports enthusiasts alike can indulge in the vast world of sports cards, ranging from vintage treasures to the latest releases.

This highly anticipated event offers attendees the chance to peruse through an extensive collection of sports cards, with a variety of options from different sports and eras. Whether you are an experienced collector or just starting out, this show provides the perfect setting to expand your knowledge, find hidden gems, and grow your collection with the help of knowledgeable dealers and collectors on-site.

Aside from the thrill of card collecting, this event holds a deeper purpose – to raise funds and awareness for the Special Olympics of Upper West Tennessee. This organization supports over 400 athletes from Lake, Obion, Weakley, Henry, and Carroll counties by providing them access to year-round sports training and competitions in various Olympic-style events.

The Special Olympics of Upper West Tennessee is dedicated to promoting inclusion, physical fitness, and memorable experiences for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Through their initiatives, athletes are given a platform to showcase their skills, foster friendships, and demonstrate courage in pursuit of their athletic endeavors.

An essential aspect of the Special Olympics’ mission is ensuring that every athlete, regardless of economic status, can participate in their programs. By offering these opportunities, the organization aims to help individuals with intellectual disabilities integrate into society as respected and productive members, harnessing the power of sports to elevate and empower them.

If you’re a collector, a sports enthusiast, or simply a community member looking to make a difference, the 2nd Annual Sports Card Show is an event you won’t want to miss.
