Fanatics Collect Revolutionizes Marketplace Fees for Sellers

Fanatics Collect, a popular platform for collectors, has just unveiled an exciting update that is sure to please sellers across the marketplace. The introduction of a new Buy Now marketplace comes with a fresh fee structure aimed at simplifying fees and maximizing earnings for sellers.

One of the most significant changes in the new fee structure is the inclusion of a flat 6% fee for listings sold for less than $120. This rate is one of the lowest in the industry, providing sellers with the opportunity to earn more from their sales. The new fee replaces the previous 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission fees, resulting in a more profitable experience for sellers.

Sellers can rejoice as they will now earn the same amount on sales of $120 or more as they did before. For listings sold under $119.99, sellers have the potential to earn up to 94% of the listing price, compared to a maximum of 85% under the old fee structure. This significant increase in earnings is set to benefit sellers immediately, with all current listings seamlessly transitioning to the new fee structure without any adjustments needed.

The redesigned Buy Now marketplace not only offers improved discoverability of cards but also reduces listing times and simplifies fees based on valuable feedback from collectors and sellers. By eliminating the 20% buyer’s premium and bonus commission, sellers are encouraged to create more competitively priced listings, ultimately enhancing the diversity and quality of options available to buyers.

To ensure a fair and competitive environment, listings priced more than 20% above the fair market value will incur a 15% seller’s fee instead of the standard 6%. Furthermore, the minimum fee for Buy Now sales has been eliminated, allowing sellers to list items for as low as 50 cents.

In addition to the financial benefits, the new Buy Now marketplace also streamlines transactions, enabling collectors to make instant payments through the Fanatics Collect app. This results in quicker payments for sellers and faster additions to collections for buyers.

For sellers who may not be comfortable with the new fee structure, the platform offers the flexibility to delist items at any time. Support is readily available through sales representatives or the Collector Experience team for any assistance needed during this transition period.

The launch of the Buy Now marketplace marks a significant milestone in the Fanatics Collect journey, dedicated to enhancing the overall buying and selling experience for all collectors. Sellers are encouraged to explore the new marketplace today and leverage the simplified fees to maximize their earnings on every sale. Exciting times lie ahead for sellers in the Fanatics Collect community!
