NSCC Charity Auction Benefits Cleveland Area Charities at 2024 Convention

The National Sports Collectors Convention (NSCC) is gearing up for a remarkable event in 2024 – a charity auction to benefit three Cleveland area charities. In commemoration of the National’s 44th anniversary, the auction will showcase 44 unique items, including prized paintings by renowned sports artists and valuable sports memorabilia.

Hosted by Pristine Auction, the charity auction will take place from July 20 to July 27, 2024. Participants can access and engage in the auction through the designated link, with select items also on display at the convention for viewing pleasure.

The auction features a diverse array of highlights, such as original paintings like the “Cleveland Collage” and the “LeBron James Portrait,” along with a signed baseball by Mickey Mantle. Collectors can also bid on sports cards like the 1955 Bowman Mantle and the 1980 Topps Bird/Magic RC, as well as signed jerseys from iconic athletes like Ronaldinho and Karim Benzema.

Notable items include exclusive artwork like the “Controlled Chaos on Canvas” by Murray Henderson LeBron James and an original watercolor by James Fiorentino. Sports memorabilia enthusiasts will find gems like the 1948 Leaf Babe Ruth card, a signed baton by Usain Bolt, and a signed glove by Tyson Fury.

The charity auction aims to support three Cleveland area charities, including the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, Inc., and The City Mission. The Greater Cleveland Food Bank focuses on providing nutritious food to the community, bridging the meal gap and empowering individuals through education and support. On the other hand, The City Mission assists those in crisis, offering programs to combat homelessness and help residents build stable, independent futures.

The NSCC expresses gratitude for the generous support and participation in the charity auction, inviting sports memorabilia enthusiasts to join the event at the 2024 National Sports Collectors Convention. By coming together for a common cause, attendees can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need while celebrating their mutual passion for sports collectibles.
