Panini’s Collaboration with Jannik Sinner for Exclusive Collection

Panini, the renowned collectibles company, has joined forces with tennis sensation Jannik Sinner in a groundbreaking collaboration that commemorates his remarkable journey to becoming the world’s No. 1 tennis player. Hailing from Modena, Italy, Sinner has clinched the coveted top spot in the ATP rankings, making history as the first Italian player to achieve this milestone.

Unveiled on June 10, 2024, the partnership between Panini and Sinner encompasses a wide array of exclusive collectibles designed to honor Sinner’s illustrious career. From limited-edition trading cards to autographed memorabilia, game gear, and even digital collections, the collaboration aims to encapsulate the essence of Sinner’s rise to the top of the tennis world.

The roots of this partnership trace back to 2022 when Panini and Sinner first joined hands for the publication of “Piccoli grandi campioni – Manuale illustrato del tennis di Jannik Sinner” (Young Great Champions – Jannik Sinner’s Illustrated Tennis Manual) by Panini Comics. This publication provided valuable insights into tennis techniques while offering a glimpse into Sinner’s early days in the sport. Additionally, Sinner was featured as the playful “duckified” character, “Quacknik Spinner,” on the cover of the renowned Topolino magazine in May 2024, adding a touch of whimsy to the collaboration.

Delighted by the partnership, Sinner fondly recalled his childhood days spent collecting Panini stickers and reading their comics, highlighting the nostalgia and excitement surrounding this collaboration. He expressed his eagerness to engage with fans in a personalized and authentic manner through the diverse range of products offered by Panini.

The inaugural product release under this collaboration will be a Panini Instant trading card commemorating Sinner’s rise to the summit of the ATP rankings. This exclusive card will be available solely on the Panini America platform, allowing fans to own a piece of history. Following this launch, Panini is gearing up to introduce a series of trading card collections dedicated to Sinner, featuring rare memorabilia and limited-edition cards. These collections will be accessible worldwide through Panini’s e-commerce network and select retail outlets, inviting fans and collectors to relish Sinner’s success in a tangible form.

With a plethora of releases slated for 2024 and beyond, Panini’s collaboration with Jannik Sinner is poised to captivate fans, collectors, and tennis enthusiasts alike. This partnership not only celebrates Sinner’s remarkable achievements but also showcases the synergy between sports and collectibles, offering a unique avenue for fans to connect with their favorite tennis star in a truly special way.
