Whatnot Rewards Club: Elevating Buyer-Seller Interaction

Whatnot is thrilled to introduce its latest innovation: the Rewards Club, a revolutionary program reshaping the dynamics of buying and selling experiences. This loyalty program is not your average rewards system; instead, it serves as a tool to simplify transactions, monitor interactions, and provide engaging rewards and acknowledgments.

Rewards Club is a game-changer, offering a dynamic and achievement-based loyalty initiative that benefits both buyers and sellers. By assisting sellers in expanding their businesses, tracking buyer engagements, and delivering incentives, the program aims to cultivate deeper connections and prompt additional purchases.

Embracing the individuality of each seller’s business, the Rewards Club is customizable, allowing sellers to tailor their loyalty programs to suit their unique communities and business objectives. From budding entrepreneurs to seasoned sellers, this program is adaptable and versatile.

The structure of the Rewards Club is organized into five distinct tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond. To progress through these tiers, sellers must achieve specific milestones selected by the seller themselves. These achievements could revolve around various criteria such as watch time, number of purchases, or total spend.

Unlocking new tiers rewards members with a plethora of benefits, including status badges, coupons (ranging from dollar-based to percentage-based and even free shipping), and exclusive access to designated shows. Membership into the program is automatic upon completing the specified achievements, ushering users into a world of rewards and recognition.

To keep things fresh and engaging, Rewards Club programs undergo seasonal resets every three months. This approach allows sellers to fine-tune and elevate their offerings for optimal engagement and impact. The seasonal schedule follows a cycle aligned with the four seasons, ensuring regular opportunities for sellers to reassess and refine their programs.

The adaptability of the Rewards Club is a key feature, as it caters to the diverse needs and strategies of different sellers. Sellers have the flexibility to set achievement thresholds and select rewards that align perfectly with their business goals and customer base.

Managing achievements and tiers is streamlined for sellers, who have the freedom to initiate their programs at any point within a season and adjust them at the end of each season as required. This autonomy empowers sellers to continuously optimize their Rewards Club offerings for maximum effectiveness.

The Rewards Club is currently in its beta testing phase until August 31, with Season 1 officially commencing on September 1. During the beta testing period, sellers can modify their tiers and terminate their programs by contacting their Account Manager or reaching out to Whatnot Support.

For sellers keen to dive into the program, signing up for early access to edit tiers for Season 1 is the first step. However, there are specific criteria that sellers must meet to participate, such as having processed at least 50 non-giveaway orders, earning over $1,000 on Whatnot, being a seller for at least 30 days, maintaining a seller rating of 4.8 or higher, and not having any recent violations.

Buyers are seamlessly enrolled in a seller’s Rewards Club upon making a purchase, gaining access to coupons and rewards through the Rewards Club overview page. Purchases made using coupons are final, ensuring a straightforward and transparent experience for buyers.

Achievements are tracked based on the total amount spent, including taxes and shipping charges. Discounts applied through coupons do not contribute to spending achievements, maintaining a fair and accurate system for tracking progress.

To respect members’ privacy preferences, Rewards Badges can be displayed or hidden during live shows, providing a personalized experience for each user. Should any questions arise or support be needed, Whatnot’s dedicated support team is readily available to assist users as the Rewards Club takes flight.
