Fanatics Launches ‘The Ten’ Program: A Rewarding Quest for Top Sports Cards

Fanatics Collectibles, in collaboration with Fanatics Live, has unveiled its latest endeavor, ‘The Ten’ program. This unique initiative aims to celebrate and reward collectors who manage to find the top 10 sports cards in the market. Inspired by iconic lists like the “Billboard Hot 100” and the FBI’s “Most Wanted,” ‘The Ten’ presents a dynamic selection of cards from various sports. Collectors who successfully pull one of these rare gems on the Fanatics Live app will receive a generous reward of $10,000 in Fanatics Live credit.

Each month, ‘The Ten’ will showcase a rotation of cards carefully chosen for their popularity and rarity. Among the examples are the highly sought-after 2023-24 Bowman Chrome University Bronny James/LeBron James 1/1 dual-auto card and the yet-to-be-pulled 2023 Bowman Chrome Baseball Draft Tom Brady 12/50 inscribed card.

The inaugural list is truly star-studded, featuring legendary athletes like Tom Brady and Steph Curry alongside rising stars such as MLB’s Corbin Carroll and Anthony Volpe, as well as NBA’s Luka Doncic and Chet Holmgren. The selection covers a wide range of cards from renowned brands like Panini, Upper Deck, Topps, and Bowman.

James Kollar, the senior director of marketing at Fanatics Live, expressed the program’s goal of enhancing the collecting experience and their commitment to giving back to collectors and the hobby as a whole. ‘The Ten’ aims to foster community engagement by allowing Fanatics Live participants and the collecting community to have a say in the monthly card selections, creating a sense of inclusion and shared excitement.

In addition to spotlighting these top cards, ‘The Ten’ also serves as a platform for promoting new products and reigniting interest in existing releases with chase cards. Dealers and collectors can now showcase these rare finds, sparking conversations and enthusiasm among the community.

Fanatics Live has exciting plans in store for ‘The Ten’, with scheduled pack and box breaks and special shows dedicated to celebrating major discoveries and announcing upcoming cards. To keep track of the selected cards and their finders, a dedicated webpage will be available, adding to the excitement and narrative surrounding this captivating initiative.

‘The Ten’ goes beyond the cards themselves; it aims to highlight the stories behind the collectors and their findings, adding a unique storytelling aspect to the program. Since its debut, Fanatics Live has experienced consistent growth, with an impressive average watch time of 56 minutes. This highlights the platform’s emergence as a community-focused hub, dedicated to enhancing the collecting experience and providing a platform for collectors to share their passion.

James Kollar expressed his enthusiasm for the potential impact of ‘The Ten’ program on the Fanatics brand and the collector community. By uniting collectors in a quest for the top sports cards and offering generous rewards, Fanatics Live aims to create a vibrant and engaging environment for collectors to connect and celebrate their shared love for the hobby.

With ‘The Ten’ program, Fanatics Live invites collectors on an exciting and rewarding journey, as they chase after the most coveted sports cards and earn recognition for their discoveries. This innovative initiative is set to leave a lasting impact on the collecting community and further solidify Fanatics as a trailblazer in the sports collectibles industry.
